This Music has been a long time coming and I appreciate everybody's patience in waiting for this record to drop. Over the last 6 months I have been really inspired by the regional Booty music(s) of the Midwest (Chicago and Detroit), and Miami Bass in the south. New York isn't really up on music with tempos in the 140's, 50's, 60's for a long period of time but when I play this music for New Yorkers in the Subway they seem to intrinsically understand how to move to this music for a while! I like to break the tempo into half time a lot to give the dancer a break. Music is getting faster and so this bundle of songs embraces that feeling, that pace. New York is an intense city and we are living in intense times, and this record reflects our having both a sense of 'true grit' and 'nasty humor' to help it go down greasy. NOTE: this music is raw both musically and lyrically at times, but it is all made in good fun and not to be taken seriously. It is no way intended to disrespect women and is in no way a reflection of my view toward women. I love and respect you all more than you know and wouldn't be here without you.

A bit on the song descriptions:

You will see things like eMiX or reEdit next to songs which delineate how I played with the pre-existing sound bite.

eMiX- is when I directly play the beat and trigger the sample in real time - regardless of genre. Genre wise, the music on this release is what I term 'Booty Tech'.

reMiX- is when I approach the composition "In the Box" first, meaning I start with an acapella, and then make new backing music on various computer "soft" synths, keyboards and drum machines, and then add live elements later. reMiXs are mostly focused on remixing that one song, not combining or mashing things up.

reEdit- is when I sample an existing song in its entirety, and then create a whole new perspective on the song with additional elements and eCUSSION.

Often times I get inspired, and myself an a select few musicians add our own production to eMiXs to add more dimensions i.e. Yuki Hirano's playing keys on Elevator Bang Bang (eMiX), Menage a Trois (eMiX), Need You Bad (reEdit) or Henry Jeria's soft synths on Player5 & Pumper5.
