I have stayed up for days finishing this EP. I'm more tired than I have ever been in my whole life! With everything that is in transition for me (and for the whole world for that matter) I wanted to express the idea of foreverness. Considering Aaliyah's contribution to music, film, dance and style and being the barrier breaking artist she certainly was, I decided it was time to re-imagine some new ways to interpret some of Aaliyah's music and I felt "eTernal" was appropriate title simple and to the point. Despite the fact that I feel like I have been run over by a truck as I write this, it has been a labor of love and Aaliyah's voice has given me the hope and positive energy that everything will be ok or at least sexy, and just to keep pushing through. I hope you enjoy. I'll sleep when I'm dead.
